Driving by... My husband just wanted a cup of coffee... but the owner/chef/baker was so hospitable we couldn't leave without buying a dozen of her cookies as well. She made french pressed coffee for my husband which was DELICIOUS. And the homemade cookies were the best I've EVER had!!! They were possibly better the 2nd day even! The owner/chef makes everything from scratch; like our ancestors did, and is very passionate about making delicious food. I am definitely going to go here again, especially when I need a host gift or other yummy gift for someone. Also, I have an elementary age daughter, who I can't wait to take here either, the place is set up so quaint and I know my daughter will love it and the owner too. The owner also said she plans on offering a sort of baking clinic around the holidays, for children to decorate cookies or make an old fashioned dessert.
